EQL Class Mixes

   Below are the top solo class mixes for Everquest Legends from my question to Google AI for "everquest legends best classes for solo leveling", and from my testing it's correct!

1. The "Unkillable" Tank/Melee

Classes: Shadow Knight, Shaman, Monk

   Why it works: Shadow Knights supply life-taps and "Reeve" (which scales off your max health) for infinite sustain. The Shaman provides a crucial slow to reduce incoming damage, and monks add top-tier, efficient damage output.

   Alternative: Warrior / Paladin / Beastlord is a phenomenal plate-tank setup with a slowing pet and excellent burst damage.

   2. The Sustained Caster

Classes: Cleric, Warrior, Bard (or Enchanter instead of Warrior)

   Why it works: Bards are wildly overpowered for solo combos because their symphonic auras provide passive damage, defense, and health/mana regen without twisting. Paired with a plate-tank like a Warrior and the unmatched healing throughput of a Cleric, you are incredibly difficult to kill while letting your mana pool sustain your damage.

   3. The Solo Pet Specialist

Classes: Magician (or Necromancer), Monk, Shaman

   Why it works: Pet classes remain reliable solo tools, especially since pet inventories are shared across your multi-class builds. Necromancers add crucial utility like Life Tap, Fear, and Feign Death, while the Shaman and Monk keep your pet and character buffed and supported.

   Today will be the start of the Everquest Legends pre-order beta, and I am excited. The nostalgia hits hard with this one for sure.

   As you can see from the latest producer's letter it should be available today at 3:00pm EST!

   You can now check out the planned upcoming class changes for Midnight 12.1. Some of those class changes look pretty sweet.

Final Zelda Fantasy?!

   What if the makers of Final Fantasy made their own Legend of Zelda style game? Too good to be true? Well, then you have to check out The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales as that is exactly what that game is! So excited about that now! It LOOKS AWESOME also!

Patches and Pre-Orders

   Today I think will be the release of WoW 12.0.5 Revelations, and you can see the patch notes now. Fun times.

   Also, for those that celebrate, today at 2pm will be the pre-orders for Everquest Legends.

   Sad news though, there's not going to be a Doctor Who Christmas special this year. This is so sad.

New Titles!!! - UPDATE!

   You've got to check out this Crazy Tazi World Tour trailer! That looks amazing! Day one buy for me for sure!

   This new trailer for Castlevania Belmont's Curse looks so great! That looks like it might have to be a day one buy as well!

   And to top it all off, you cannot beat a new FABLE game! That is just a MUST buy hands down!

UPDATE:

   We now know that EQ Legends will be available for pre-oder on June 16, 2026 for $19.99 with a $9.99 monthly subscription. For pre-ordering you get to reserve your character name, which is great since you only get one character, access to the final beta, and the title "The Legend" as well. And THIS is a good video about this announcement too.

   Also check out THIS exclusive opening scene for Mortal Kombat II the movie! That does look pretty awesome!
