I Want This 2 Pounds!!!

   This coming new year the U.K. is going to release THIS NEW 2 POUND COIN honoring J.R.R. Tolkien, and I WANT ONE!

i'd like one as well...but i'm guessing these will evaporate pretty quickly the moment they are released to the general public as collectors and movie related sellers will obtain them and then resell them to overseas markets for a substantial profit...have an artist/collaborator friend in England that i plan on sending a package to at some point..might ask her to pick one up for me.

I'm over in the UK which is a bonus, but I haven't found a lot of collectable items such as coins to increase in value a lot. But if you are say a fan of Tolkein, it's a nice item to have and worth something to other fans.

Out of interest, Tolkein spent the last few years of his life in my home town of Bournemouth in England.
